In 2007, RotorWorks partnered with TopoSys to purchase a Harrier 56/G3 airborne LiDAR system to add a third dimension to our Remote Aerial Sensing program. The Harrier 56/G3 was specifically designed for corridor mapping services.
The RotorWorks’ LiDAR platform consists of a Harrier 56/G3 High Density LiDAR system coupled with the Rolie 39 MPIX camera which provides the highest quality in survey data in the industry. RotorWorks's system is a full wave form digitization device that has a laser pulse rate of 200 kHz capable of providing a maximum of 40 laser points per square meter, up to five (5) laser returns per laser beam emitted and accuracy within three (3) cm.
