Rotorworks is small minority owned business, founded in 2001. It is based out of its own FAA approved heliport in Hiram Georgia (FAA identifier 00GE). RotorWorks was founded to support utility companies; it is not a helicopter company; it is an information company. The primary goal of RotorWorks is to increase reliability in the utility owner’s system, whether using a helicopter as an observation platform or coupling it with high technology tools, such as infrared (IR), Corona or Lidar.
As President of RotorWorks, Leigh Caffrey manages the financial and administrative functions of the business. She holds a Magna Cum Laude degree in Business, has extensive experience in banking and over 19 years experience as Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of Caffrey Construction. Ms. Caffrey owns over fifty percent of RotorWorks and the business, therefore, qualifies as a Women’s Business Enterprise (W.B.E.).
